Writing is a big part of story telling, therefore it's a big part of my life. When I created my first short film, I was amazed at how my story had progressed into a piece of visual art. Seeing this progression first hand really urged me to pursue my passion for the written word, whether it be short fiction, poetry, technical writing, journalism or screenwriting. Below you'll see a short list of examples of my writing that encompasses the variety of genres I've written in to demonstrate my experience and writing style.

Some notable publications I have had work published in include Cosmopolitan magazine, Morpheus Tales Horror magazine (UK), Metro Pulse in Knoxville, TN, Echoes and Images literary magazine and Nota Bene literary magazine.

My Master's Work: My Master's Work is a piece of short fiction published by Morpheus Tales, a horror magazine based in the UK. Finding a home in their Dark Sorcery Issue, My Master's Work tells the story of a spirit controlled by a magician who uses the narrator to retrieve the spirits of the immoral onlookers in his audience with intentions of recruiting them to work for the Master.

Laura: EXCERPT ONLY Laura was a finalist in the Knoxville Horror Film Festival 2010 and is a screenplay adapted from a piece of short fiction I had written entitled Laura: Zombie Gorgeous in which protaganist Ron Ottowold becomes romantically involved with a troubled stripper and her friend only to lose her as a result of his company's business practices. His company? The Ridges Hospital's top secret program studying a virus that leaves its victims brain-dead and thirsty for blood!

Interview with Rob Zombie: Rob Zombie Rises From the Grave with Hellbilly Deluxe II was an article published by Knoxville, TN's Metro Pulse, a weekly news, entertainment and culture publication. The interview with Rob was scheduled as a phone interview and the column was published a week before Zombie's concert in Knoxville.
